Join the Discussion

During October and November we will be hosting a six week discussion course on the Church of England report, Living in Love and Faith – which explores Christian teaching and learning about identity, sexuality, relationships, and marriage.

We will meet on a Tuesday evening in St Mary’s Beaminster from 7-8.30pm, beginning on Tuesday 19th October and ending on Tuesday 23rd November.

This is a chance to engage, listen, and to reflect theologically on the issues.

The course materials take five weeks to complete. On the sixth week, 23rd November, we will be joined by Archdeacon of Sarum The Venerable Alan Jeans. Alan is the diocesan advocate for LLF and will host a question and answer session to complete our time together.

All are welcome to attend, to listen, and to participate. It is useful to attend all six sessions if possible. Pastoral support will be available as we discuss a subject that can be personally challenging.

You can book your free place via Eventbrite or phoning the Beaminster Area Team office on 01308 862320, between 10.30 and 12.30, Monday to Friday.

Free course materials are available for download once you register on the Church of England website. Alternatively can order a printed course booklet from Church of England Publishing for £4.99. Or contact the Beaminster Team to provide a copy for you for £5 – cash only.
