From the Hub update Friday 17th February 2023

The Team Council will be meeting on Tuesday 28th February beginning at 7pm at Beaminster. One of the agenda items will be the future direction of the Team and the role of the Team Vicar. Parishes are traditionally tardy at attending these meetings. Each parish has two reps,
one churchwarden and one other. It is important that every parish is represented at this meeting.

The past week has been one of great sadness in the community of Mosterton. Last Sunday we held, at short notice, a time of prayer and reflection for the local community at a time of grief and sadness. The service was attended by 180 people from communities far wider than the village. I would like to give my thanks to the team in Mosterton for their wonderful help and support in making provision for tributes to be laid in the churchyard and for setting up the church as an open space for memories to be shared and candles lit. I know from the Facebook comments I received this has been gratefully appreciated by many people. Annual Parochial Church Meetings 2023

These annual meetings take place over March and April and I have listed them below. The electoral rolls will open for admission ahead of the
meetings. We have a large number of church members who are not on the rolls and I would encourage you to join as they give voting rights at the meetings.
