From the Hub update Friday 10th March 2023

I am pleased to be able to announce that following her interview Fiona has been appointed as Priest in Charge of the Parishes of Aberporth, Blaenporth and Betws Ifan, which is part of the Local Ministry Area of Bro Teifi in St David’s Diocese. The provisional date for her licensing is Monday 22nd May at 7pm in Aberporth. Her farewell service will be the Team Service at 11am in Beaminster on Sunday 30th April. We all congratulate Fiona on her appointment and the next steps in her ministry.

Gill Perrott asked me to say thank you to everyone who helped and attended last Saturday’s coffee morning to raise awareness of Fairtrade
Fortnight. With backing from the Beaminster CO-OP store and other businesses and the generosity of all who came along, the outstanding total of £600 was raised for the Fairtrade organisation on the morning.

The APCM season kicks off this week with meetings on Monday in Seaborough, Tuesday in Stoke Abbott (2.30 pm) and on Thursday in South
Perrott (2pm) and Toller Porcorum (7.00 pm). I look forward to welcoming you at these important meetings.
