Rector’s Weekly Update

The Beaminster Area Team
From the Hub update 4th June 2021

Having sent out a date for the Team Council to meet, I am sorry but I have now been informed by Steven Loveridge that it clashes with the Archdeacon’s Visitation and licensing of Churchwardens into their offices for the coming year. Due to the dates already fixed for PCC meetings in July, I have had difficulty in finding a date close to the original one but have now settled on Monday 5th July at 7.00 pm in St Mary’s Beaminster. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but hope to see all members and anyone else who would like to come and share how their churches are coming out of the pandemic.

On Tuesday 29th June – St Peter’s Day – I will have been ordained 25 years in priestly orders. To thank God for his calling, and his love and care, I will be celebrating Holy Communion at 7pm in Beaminster and I would love it if you were able to join me to share in this celebration. As I have to lead a funeral this Friday I will be taking Thursday as my day off for this week.

Online Worship at Home video services continue even though churches are open. The online community continues to be an important part of our church. As usual each Sunday’s video service will be available on the day before.
