From the Hub update 12th November 2021
I would like to begin by congratulating Julie Steele of Broadwindsor on her Confirmation by Bishop Karen last Saturday in Salisbury Cathedral. It was a lovely service at which 11 candidates were confirmed and one was baptised in the beautiful font.
On Advent Sunday 28th November there will be a Advent carol service at 6.30pm in St Mary’s Beaminster led by Dr Peter Nardone – the new Director of Music and Organist – and the choir. If anyone would like to read one of the lessons please let me know.
Thank you to everyone at Hooke and Salway Ash for the lovely coffee mornings last Tuesday, it was good to see the fellowship and friendship at these events.
