From the Hub update 19th November 2021
Thank you to all who helped to lead and coordinate last weekend’s Annual Acts of Remembrance across the team. I have received a number of positive comments about the services and how welcoming our churches were to those who attended.
This Sunday 21st November is the last of the current liturgical year, the Feast of Christ the King. Next Week is Advent Sunday and there will be an Advent Carol Service at 6.30pm at Beaminster. Thank you to those who have offered to read at this service. This is a service for the whole team and we look forward to seeing as many as possible on the evening.
This coming Tuesday is the final session of the Living in Love and Faith discussions we have been holding across the deanery. Archdeacon Alan Jeans will be leading a question and answer session to collect responses that can be taken back to the national church. If you would like to know more about this, please speak to one of the clergy.
Online Worship at Home video services continue even though churches are open. The online community continues to be an important part of our church. As usual each Sunday’s video service will be available on the day before. We hope you continue to enjoy our weekly Rev Chat video.
