From the Hub update Friday 16th December 2022
Thank you to all the churches who hosted Christmas services for our schools over the last couple of weeks. It is always great to connect our church, school and village communities together in worship.
There have been many deaths of church members over recent months and this week we share the sad news of the death of Julie Steele from Broadwindsor. Julie was part of village and church life, was baptised and confirmed in recent years and was also part of our Gin Church community. Her funeral will be on 6th January.
Fundraising and socialising has continued throughout December and congratulations to all those who have been raising funds and connecting communities together. Whether it is through carol singing, village meals, Christmas tree festivals, coffee mornings or raffles we thank you for your energy and commitment.
Advent reflections continue on the website in the last few days of our journey of preparation to celebrate the birth of Jesus.
