From the Hub Covid-19 update 9th April 2021
Hello everyone. It is lovely to be back after a restful and fruitful sabbatical. Thank you to everyone who covered for me in my absence.
Firstly, thank you for all involved in Easter worship and decorating churches, making Easter gardens, and making it a great day of celebration. It was good to be back in church and celebrating the hope of the resurrection.
The Bishop of Sherborne is running an online Start course later this month. Bishop Karen will lead the six-week enquirers’ group on Zoom from 7.30pm on 21st April. If you have anyone in your congregation who would appreciate a refresher course in the Christian faith, or is interested in some confirmation preparation, or just wanting to know more please invite them to come along. Email bishop.sherborne@salisbury.anglican.org before 18th April to book your place. A link will then be sent out to all participants.
Thursday night prayers continue to meet at 7pm every week on Zoom. My website post – https://beaminsterteamchurches.org/thursday-evening-prayers/ – explains what happens when we meet. The Zoom link will remain the same every week. We would love to see you there.
The Sunday afternoon Zoom service has paused for the time being, but the Tuesday lunchtime bible study session continues.
Our online worship also continues and can be found on our website. https://beaminsterteamchurches.org/worshipathome/ Do send in any photos of events or beautiful views to share on our weekly service, we always love to feel connected to each other.
