We have a youth group for young people in Year 6 and above which meets monthly on the first Saturday of the month at 4pm, usually in St Mary’s Church Beaminster. The group is made up of young people who have started together as a confirmation group and then continued to meet. However, you don’t have to be confirmed to be part of the group, we welcome everyone who would like to join.
Our time together is a mixture of chat, activities, bible study and prayer. Each meeting concludes with the famous Jelly Baby prayer. We also plan in social meetings sometimes including pizza, pavlova, marshmallows and skittles.
Our hope is that by being part of the youth group you will make friends, enjoy yourself and have a chance to explore and talk about faith. We also encourage the youth group to attend and be involved in our monthly service, 10.15@Salway Ash on the 2nd Sunday of the month and Breakfast@10 on 5th Sundays in Beaminster.
Our next meetings are: 7th April, 5th May and 2nd June, 4-5.30pm, St Mary’s Church Beaminster. If you are coming for the first time please make sure an adult drops you off so they can fill in an information and permission form.
