Hot on the heels of our Think ECO Go ECO event on July 14th in Beaminster square has come the arrival of our Silver Award.
The ECO Survey was completed and updated as new targets are met are part of Beaminster’s involvement as an ECO church with A Rocha. This is a global Christian organisation caring for creation, looking at the environment & conservation.
The survey covers five key areas:-
- Worship & Teaching
- Buildings
- Land
- Community & Global
- Lifestyle
The completion of the survey results in scores in these five areas and we have now reached the Silver band so hence our Silver Award. This was very much aided by our recent ECO fair on July 14th.
