Who we are

Beaminster Area Team compromises 15 churches within 12 parishes. Each church is its own data controller and as such has produced its own privacy notice. This notice refers to the Team as a whole, its website and social media accounts, its Team News magazine and to the Church Office.

We may collect, use, store and transfer the following data within the Beaminster Area Team:

  • Contact data – email and postal addresses and telephone numbers.
  • Financial data – bank account details for payment to/from you.

Beaminster Area Team collects and processes information so that we can:

  • Manage, administer and promote the work and life of our churches.
  • Administer financial transactions and donations.
  • Manage our website and social media accounts.
  • Manage our staff and volunteers.

Data storage

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose(s) it was collected for and in line with the Church of England’s regulations concerning record keeping.

All data will be stored and destroyed securely.
