Help For Ukraine

We’ve been asked by many people how they can help the people of Ukraine, donate to people in the country, or to Ukrainian refugees.

If you would like to make a financial donation then you can do so through the Disasters Emergency Committee. The UK government has pledged to match donations pound for pound up to £20 million.

Financial donations are a quicker way of lending aid to the people of Ukraine. But if you have items to donate details are below.

You can support the drop off points already created in Bridport. Donations can be dropped off at Bridport Music Centre from 10am to 1pm Monday to Friday, Opal in South Street, and at the telephone box. You can read more about these efforts and suggested items on this Bridport Nub News page.
