Limited Access St Mary’s Beaminster

Work being carried out by Openreach this week means there will be no ramp access to St Mary’s Beaminster on Tuesday and Wednesday this week (17 & 18th May).

Access to the ramp is closed for cars and pedestrians as Openreach is digging up Tower Hill down to St. Mary Well Street today. It will be resurfaced tomorrow morning so there will be heavy lorries and hot tar around.

Entry to the church will be via Shadrack Street and the Strode Room steps.

If you’re planning on coming to Walk in Wednesday with a pram or wheelchair tomorrow be aware the only access to the church is via Strode Room entrance so please make use of the accessibility lift if you can’t manage the stairs.
