Every year, all over the world Christians, are re-living the events that happened over some 2000 years ago. We retrace the steps of Jesus during his last week of his life on earth, each day is crucial, sometimes we even go hour by hour for the entire week. This is known as Holy Week, it lasts from Palm Sunday to Holy Saturday. This is how it began with the Triumphant entry into Jerusalem.

Explore: What makes you happy? How do you react when someone is happy or sad?, What makes you happy at Easter? How can you bring happiness to other people? What is the difference between joy and happiness?

Challenge: Create palms, and draw different clocks to lay on the floor, and re-enact the triumphal journey within the classroom. You could sing a song whilst journeying around the room.
