Worship at Home Easter 2 19th April 2020

We are not able to gather physically to worship today. However, we remember that although we may be apart, we can still worship together. Here are some resources and suggestions to help you worship at home and join together as the body of Christ.

We have recorded a short act of worship for Easter 2 The order of service is available here from our downloads page. You can also download and read Rev Jo’s full sermon.

The readings for Easter 2 are:

  • Exodus 14:10-end,15:20-21
  • Acts 2:14a,22-32
  • Psalm 16
  • John 20:19-end

Collect for 2nd Sunday of Easter

Almighty Father,
you have given your only Son to die for our sins
and to rise again for our justification:
grant us so to put away the leaven of malice and wickedness
that we may always serve you
in pureness of living and truth;
through the merits of your Son Jesus Christ our Lord,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever. Amen
