2026 Count on Nature

Join us on Saturday 6 June at 10:00 for the Count on Nature in Beaminster churchyard.

As part of the nationwide effort to monitor churchyard wildlife we will be spending two hours counting the wildlife we find around the church in Beaminster – DT8 3BB.

Bring your notebooks and clipboards to help record the wildlife you find. Register at the information table when you arrive.

We hope to have some experts to help with identification as we submit our findings to the national database. In 2025 there were 8668 records of natural life, that were submitted by over 6000 participants, representing a fantastic contribution to the understanding of the ecological value of these special places.

Saturday 6 June, 10:00 – 12:00. All ages are welcome; children must be accompanied by an adult.
