You are invited to join in with our Lent book course, Sunday activities, or a Lent knitting project.

You’re welcome to join us in several activities across the course of Lent this year.

Lent Course

Our book for Lent is Tarry Awhile by Selina Stone. If you want to join in with a Lent course please come along. Our Lent courses will begin in the week beginning Monday 19 February. We are meeting 12:00-13:00 on Mondays or 10:00-11:00 on Tuesdays in St Mary’s Beaminster. Or join us online at 20:15 on Thursdays via Zoom.

Lent Knitalong 2024

Some our church knitters have joined in the Victoria Methodist Church in recent years for a themed Lenten knit. If you would like to take part this year then you’ll find all the details on the Victoria Methodist website.

Sunday 25 February 16:00 Beaminster Church

A time to watch and pray with music and words. Led by Dr Peter Nardone and Jo Neary. There will be opportunities to sing and to listen accompanied by tea and cake.

Sunday 17 March 16:00 Beaminster Church

Theological discussion and tea led by Revd Dr David Campbell, Sherborne School Chaplain.

Sunday 24 March 16:00 Netherbury Church

A reflective walk around the village led by Jacky Bush finishing with tea and cake in church. Evensong follows at 18:00 if you would like to stay.
