We’ve lots of fun family and community events taking place across the summer.
Woody Wanders
We have three Woody Wanders to enjoy over the summer:
- 14:00 on 5 August at Toller Porcorum Old Railway Line
- 10:00 on 12 August at Kingcombe Visitor Centre
- 14:00 on 18 August at Netherbury Church
Our community nature walks are open to everybody and are friendly and easy paced. They offer a wonderful opportunity to explore new places and meet new people whilst enjoying the benefits of being out in nature. There will be some gentle inclines, uneven paths, and mud if we have had rain, so please wear appropriate footwear.
Please car share where possible and note that dogs are not permitted.
Sunshine & Stories
We are excited to be hosting our new reading event across three locations this summer:
- 11:00 – 13:00 on 4 August at Broadwindsor Park
- 11:00 – 13:00 on 11 August at Mosterton Park
- 11:00 – 13:00 on 25 August at Salway Ash Park
This hopes to be a relaxed time for children and families to come together to enjoy a picnic, share books, and be with friends. We will be joined by Beaminster Library who will be bringing a selection of books for us to enjoy.
Bricks & Buns
Our new faith-linked event, Bricks & Buns, will be held in Mosterton Church from 10:00 – 11:00 on Saturdays 8, 15, and 22 August.
We will be Lego building themed around a bible story, followed by refreshments. Sessions will be relaxed and friendly with time to build, explore, and enjoy conversations with others.
Do keep an eye on this page and our socials for any changes, we have made plans to move some events inside churches should heat or wet weather make this necessary.
