Worship at Home – Sunday 5th February 2023

Join Rev Jo Neary of the Beaminster Team for a Worship at Home video service for Sunday 5th February 2023. Thanks to our contributors Gillian Perrott and Sue Counsell.

We don’t have a sermon this week, so we urge you to watch the latest episode of Rev Chat where David, Jo, and Chris discuss this week’s Gospel reading.

You can download the order of service to follow along with the video service below.

Collect

Almighty God,
who alone can bring order
to the unruly wills and passions of sinful humanity:
give your people grace
so to love what you command
and to desire what you promise,
that, among the many changes of this world,
our hearts may surely there be fixed
where true joys are to be found;
through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.

Readings

  • Old Testament: Isaiah 58: 1-9a[b-12]
  • Psalm: Psalm 112: 1-9[10]
  • New Testament: 1 Corinthians 2: 1-12[13-16]
