This year the Friends of St Mary’s are especially delighted to welcome our guest speaker, The Revd Prebendary Alastair Wheeler, who has kindly offered to talk about his experiences of working with women clergy colleagues linked to the new Archbishop of Canterbury. Titled “Women in Ministry: 50 years of Change” this promises to give a unique and fascinating insight into a very topical and relevant subject. Alastair will be happy to answer any questions you may wish to ask at the end of his talk.
Enjoy time afterwards to socialise over a cup of tea and delicious cakes.
If you are not already a Friend of St Mary’s, please take a moment to talk to a member of the committee about joining. Support from our community is vital to help keep this wonderful Church, hub of our vibrant community, to continue to grow and flourish.
