“She will bear a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” – Matthew 1:21.
Reflection
Have you ever had an angel of God speak to you in a middle of a dream? This conversation with the angel certainly impacted upon Josephs life. The dream changed his attitude and how he thought about Mary, since he loved her very much. Personally, I think he deepened in his love for her after this message was delivered, the angel told him the future and reassured him. He tells him the baby’s gender, then the name he must give him and then tells him his purpose. I would have been totally blown away if an angel spoke to me like that. I wonder how does God speak to you in your life, is it through scripture, books, sermons, other people, through dreams, knowing’s, nature, quiet meditations, or through your prayer life and how do you respond to God’s instructions?
Prayer
Let us pray, Lord allow us to be open to your words and instructions for our lives, give us the courage to step out in faith and to be obedient to your call. Amen
Action
Let me encourage you to go to your quiet place and light a candle, spend time dwelling on Gods words, and then time just listening to what God is telling you.
