The Friends of St Mary’s Church, Beaminster, are delighted to welcome the John Maddocks Jazzmen, bringing the sound of New Orleans Jazz right into the heart of our community.
This is a truly exciting event, firmly rooted in the era of Jelly Roll Morton, King Oliver, and Louis Armstrong. The band presents tunes from the early jazz repertoire along with many popular and familiar songs – promising to transport you directly into the heady days of the 1920s.
The John Maddocks Jazzmen concert will be held at St Mary’s Church Beaminster on Saturday 4 October at 7.30pm.
£15 adults £3.00 under 16s. Tickets available at the door.
