Psalm 25:1-2 1 To you, O Lord, I lift up my soul.
2 O my God, in you I trust;
    do not let me be put to shame;
    do not let my enemies exult over me.

Reflect

These words maybe easy to say, but do we really lift up our soul to God, do we really want God to see everything in our hearts.  We so often judge people without knowing them or not making the time to phone or visit. There are many things we may not be proud of, but we can always bring them to God, who loves us. This can open a channel for God to work through us, building a relationship, trusting God will always see us through the hard times.

Pray

Father God, we come before you with outstretched hands, with our whole being, hiding nothing. Work through us this Advent, helping us to do Your will, trusting in Your love. Amen

Give yourself a quiet moment to open yourself up to God
