    when she who is in labour has brought forth;
then the rest of his kindred shall return
    to the people of Israel.

Reflect

A new life is waiting to be born, a life already in creation, until the time comes when independent life is possible. What a turmoil of emotion – is the time right for a new life? Am I right to be a new parent, am I preparing the correct way, what is the correct way? Never done this before, how would I know, how will I know? Oh panic, oh fear, oh bliss. 

Pray

Dear Lord and Father, you know the answers to my questions. Let me be open not just to ask you the ‘whys’ and ‘hows’ but to be willing to listen to your answers. Give me the wisdom to hear you and the courage to act up on your word. Amen

Act

Make time in each waiting day to be observant of life around both near and far, see the need and try to fulfil the deed, in action or donation.
