We have developed some summer holiday activities and challenges for you. There are four bible stories, each with a video, some suggested activities and a challenge. If you would like to participate in the challenges competition, then email your pictures to our website – beaminsterteammedia@gmail.com.
The pictures will go on the website and our social media. If you want to enter the challenge competitions but don’t want your photos public then just mention that in your email.
These activities replace our normal summer holiday activities when we gather together at village halls for crafts, activities and sports. Hopefully next year we will see you all again in person, but for now enjoy joining in virtually.
Nature
What happens in the psalm? Who is God looking after? How does God look after us? Who looks after you? How can you look after the world we live in and the people in it? What do you think God is trying to teach us in this Psalm?
Make

Create a Nature Table
Make one in your house, find interesting flowers, pebbles, seeds, moss, shells. Talk about how they feel, what they look like, how you can describe them.
Drawing in Nature
Take your sketch book or some paper with you outside, what can you draw or sketch? What do you see? Look at big things and little things, try drawing a whole view or a tiny section.
Bark and Leaf Rubbing
Use wax crayons and plain paper, go and rub bark, do leaf rubbings, try rubbing over different textures, see what patterns you make.
Nature Bunting
about what you have seen out and about. What places would you like to go and visit? Talk about being beside water, what does it sound like by a stream, a river or the sea. Think about how you look after your pets, what do they need you to do for them? Think about how can we grow our own food? What have you planted or seen grow in your garden?
